A wet storm system has settled over the Northwest. This system will produce frequent showers and possibly thunderstorms this afternoon. The current system will give way to a much more threatening weather system Tuesday afternoon. The current forecast is for strong winds and heavy rain Tuesday through Thursday. Persistent rain may make flooding a real possibility.
