BOIL WATER NOTICE ISSUED THE EVENING OF DECEMBER 24 HAS ENDED
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY DECEMBER 26, 2023 – 8AM
WATER DELIVERED TO ALL TAPS IS SAFE TO DRINK
A vehicle accident resulted in an unplanned shutdown on S Ferguson Rd (from S Henrici Rd north to S Ferguson Terrace) and on S Henrici Rd east to S Shore Vista Dr (including all side roads between these locations) on the evening of December 24. This event resulted in an unsafe drop in water pressure leaving some customers without water. Due to loss of water pressure in the distribution system on December 24, 2023, potentially harmful bacteria could be present in the water supply. Repairs were made to the water system the evening of December 24 and morning of December 25 to restore service to customers. Once the repairs were made and the system flushed, water quality samples were taken to confirm the safety of the water. Clackamas River Water recommends flushing all taps for 2 minutes or until the water runs cold before consuming for the first time.
Clackamas River Water thanks customers for their cooperation and understanding during the boil water notice. While there was only a potential for contamination, the health and safety of customers is our first priority. We thank you for your patience.
