We Love Clean Rivers (WLCR) recently was awarded a grant from Clackamas County Tourism and Cultural Affairs to develop a plan for a whitewater surf park on the lower Clackamas River.  The new whitewater surf park  could increase tourism in the area. 

White water parks are usually man made formations in a river to create rapids and jumps for kayakers, stand up paddle boarders and other adventurers.  A list of some of the white water parks currently open can be found at Born to Paddle.
